They are not sealed and, as a consequence, if they get sprayed with water- which will invariably happen under the hood - they rust. So, seal the bottom of them with silicone caulk, keeping the goop off the contacts, and they are OK.

Ordered this item February 2015. Arrived in standard yellow Hella box. Box has small white sticker with UPC and the words 'Made In China'. Same notice is printed on the relay proper. Be advised, not manufactured in Germany. If you don't care about this... then you'll be happy.

Not using this for lights, but for a fan relay. Nothing special about it, but nothing wrong either. It works as designed. Can't complain about anything.

I really like Hella relays. They work well and are reliable. Beware of the 3rd party sellers, I got some that were a generic brand and not genuine hella, I now only order the ones "shipped and sold by amazon".
