I was unable to install because the distance from the counting bolt to the back of the light as too much for my bracket and the product description doesn’t include full measurements.

These are well built lights of course. The actual wiring leads from the bulb to the harness will not stand up to 100w halogen use for very long (trust me...). So what I did was upgrade to H1 LEDs . Much better light, and much less amp draw and heat on the wiring. Use an H1 LED that has the small driver box and fan-less, like the type with the flexible cooling wings. They work very well, never burn out, and run much cooler. Great beam and distance, for much less than the Hella LED series lights.

Copied from my comparison on the euro beam and the FF reflector :I was going to buy Cibie's, but they are extremely difficult to source and I've heard they don't last. While the Hella are sold by pretty much any vendor and parts are available. The electrical connectors are also easy to find, just search for "timer interconnect" on Digikey or mouser (but they're included).I would've bought the Hella 3003 with plastic housings instead, but they were priced the same. These are very very sturdy units and I love the matte finish. I could not find any comparison between these and the free form reflector (clear lens) so I bought both and made a comparison, side-by-side. The euro beam is pretty narrow, which would be better for long range, while the FF gives a broader beam and a weird cutoff. That said, I don't think there's a better one, depends on what you need. In fact, I will probably keep one of each, even if they will look a bit odd.The pictures were taken just after I adjusted my headlamps, so the spots are 25 feet away and you can see the tape lines I have used to aim my headlights. The only complaint I have is that the packaging was very poor, they came in the retail box (almost falling apart) and I had to return one that did not have the accessories included. The replacement one had a slightly warped rock shield... but the lights were intact.

Very unsatisfied, purchased r pecking to get 100watt bulb, only to have product arrive with 55watt bulb. I had read reviews with this problem, but assumed that 100 way in the product description would mean that is what I am getting, not a 100watt hosting with 55watt bulbs. Very disappointed to have p aid full price for half the product. Do not recommend.

I have installed these Hella 4000 driving lights on my '95 Chevy Lumina. I drive 80 miles each way to work. The highway is very remote with no street lights, goes through some mountains,& some flat lands, all winter,(late September-early May) it is covered with ice & snow, & is very dark most of the time. Then out comes a moose,( Alaskan moose are the size of a horse) from the road side. With these large diameter, Hella 4000's you really "light up the night", & can see them from along way off, to give you the time you need to take evasive action. These lights really do a great job,& make night driving much safer. I highly recommend these lights to everyone that drives in the country, or does off-roading. Yukon Garry
