I used these under a dock on a fresh water lake. Ok as long as you don’t let them touch the ground. I can see they would be great water toys.

The valve stem valve was difficult out to completely seat, lost air a couple times. Last time I remove valve, used threaded end on provided tool to clear up threads and reinstalled valve using a bit more force treading in the valve.

Heavy duty tube, but only lasted one summer for me. We have an above ground pool and have only ever floated in it. I have stored it appropriately in the winter and it just exploded in the sun this summer. It was great while it lasted, but probably wouldn’t buy again.Also, I never received a cover for the air hole on the tube after contacting the company.

About a week prior to my river float, I blew this tube up to ensure it would stay inflated. it started to deflate when I checked on it about 45 minutes later, and it was completely flat within a day. The inner hole in this tube is also a lot bigger than I was expecting. As a pretty average-sized adult woman, I wouldn't have been able to comfortably float down the river on top of this tube. You could easily go completely inside the tube, but it would take a lot of core strength to lay on top.Luckily I had enough time to order a different tube before my trip- the Airhead River Otter tube worked out perfectly. It's a bit more pricey than these, but better than being in the river with no float!
