I bought these to act as hangers in my storage container. They hold weight well connected to the metal interior. The grip to the smooth surface is strong and hang any item well. To move them to a different spot rock them from the hanger by grasping the hooks. They release easily.This can cause an item hanging to roll the magnet free if the weight is too far from the wall on the hook. I caused this hanging two folding chairs on the same hook. The center of gravity was lower and about six inches away from the wall. The weight wasn’t much. Make sure any item you wish to hang has its weight in a vertical line with the hooks or it could roll the hanger free. I’ve had them hanging without incident since then.
