There is a small bit of learning how to hold / grip this to use it, but it is definitely better than the typical packing tape dispenser. The angled blade works better as well. Also love how it's easier to store in our drawer.Would recommend!

I feel this is slightly overpriced for what it is and the materials. However, compared to similar styles, this one seems to hold the tape on relatively well and I really appreciate the accuracy of being able to cut it and not guesstimate as that sometimes leads to taping 3 in too long and the fun folding process or recutting with some sort of box cutter. I would not recommend football spiking it like in the video provided, I would definitely break it, but it would definitely take a modest fall. Well, just not a endzone celebration Spike.

Best tape dispenser and box packer I have ever owned, ( and I have owned a few over the years.) Good tape action and its a pleasure to use. 5* is not enough.

This tape gun is a little bit diffrent than standard tape guns. It's deginately has a small learning curve it saves a lot of tape and you can control how tight/loose it is easily. Also it's for vith right and left hand as well.

I thought this would be wonderful, but I'm very disappointed with it. It just about does the job and is quite robust, but it is OK at best and nothing more than that. The "innovative" angled cutting blade is just a gimmick and adds nothing to its use, the tape constantly folds back on itself and gets stuck because there is nothing to prevent it from doing so, and it's stiff and difficult to use. I'm not sure how this ever won a design award, I can only imagine the other entries were crafted by toddlers from cardboard and pipe cleaners. It's better than nothing, but not by much.

angled cutter makes all the difference for easy cutting the tape; compact and easy to handle

Really good quality but it’s really hard to get the tape to release and roll to cover your packages. It ends up stretching your tape. I feel there is a trick to it but I haven’t figured it out yet.

I have purchased 5 different tape dispensers because I have small hands and I don’t like holding super heavy items, but this one is great! It’s easy to use, not yea y, and it’s well made. Love it!

As I prep more boxes, I’m beginning to appreciate the value in purchasing good tools. This one makes the job of taping boxes much more efficient AND more comfortable and less fatigue inducing. If you can’t stand those giant tape guns, this is for you. Light years ahead of the standard flimsy plastic dispensers that come with many packing tape rolls in the store. The rubberized handle helps a lot.The squeeze break makes cutting off and precision easy. The angled blade with extended guide helps a lot and protects your box. Tape cuts clean and straight always. The tape guide does a good job of rarely ever letting the tape slip through back on to the roll to fish out. Also doesn’t stick constantly to the guide.Smooth roller and loading mechanism. Highly recommend you spend the $20 and get one.Happy prepping!

I like the functionality and small footprint of this tape dispenser. My old one was the kind with a handle and it was too large to fit in a drawer. This is a good replacement. I had to learn the proper angle to use it effectively. The handled kind is heavy, clunky and can be cumbersome. But, I was used to holding it a certain way to tape boxes. This model is great. The only issue I have is that I instinctively hold it incorrectly because of how all of my previous kinds worked. If you want the tape to flatten against the box as you tape, you have to make sure to press the plastic lip along the back of the tape at a steep angle. It is worth it despite the learning curve.
