These spotter arms are exactly what I needed for my power rack. They feel very solid and durable. It comes with 4 rubber sticky pads that you can place in the grooves of the arm where it attaches to the power rack to prevent metal rubbing against metal. The length of these spotter arms is about 18 inches and there is thick rubber padding to protect your metal bars.

I have an older power cage that uses 5/8" holes, so it was nice to find a set of safety arms that could fit both 5/8 and 1 inch. The build on these seems very sturdy -- the welds are clean, and the rubber is screwed, not taped or glued, onto the arms themselves. Once the hooks have settled around the cage uprights, nothing wiggles at all, which is reassuring.I got these primarily to have a way to set up a low bar for use in things like Romanian deadlifts, where it is more convenient to have the bar off the ground for switching weights, as well as for getting it set in the upright position. For this, these arms work like gold. I don't know if I would use it for squats. Not because I am worried that it wouldn't take the weight, but because I am mostly interested in squatting inside the cage with a full bar, in case I hurt a leg, or lose my balance and need the whole cage to protect me. But, that's just me, your workout may vary.I like these arms and they make a nice addition to my cage. They go and come off easily, are solid and secure for the weights I am using, and I recommend them if you have a need.

... offerings that come in a cardboard box, with no fancy wrappings, slick sales pamphlet, or anything else that's not needed or wanted -- just the way I like my weightlifting equipment. The first thing I check on something like this is the welds, which must have been done in an automated way, as this particular example is absolutely perfect. Included are pads to attach to prevent marring your racks finish and to snug up the fit, which is an appreciated inclusion. These are really nice! Very solid. The fit is interesting to me…they are spot on 2x2 width wise but my rack holes are 5/8th which should work with these but the fit is extremely tight! They ended up working but I had to pound them in which doesn’t make for convenient smooth adjustments while training. It would definitely be a five star if not for that issue. I’d still recommend them for the quality and price

Arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to take from packaged to installed status on my power rack, a couple of minutes. Size fit as advertised and the supports are definitely solid and easy to take on and off the rack. The angle is safe and they hold just like any other attachment I’ve used on my rack. Throw in the professional appearance and we got a winner!

These Heavy Duty Safety Spotter Arms are exactly what any power rack needs. The installation was straightforward - they slide right into my 3x3 rack with 1" holes and lock securely with the pin system. I appreciate the rubber padding that keeps things quiet & protecting my power racks finish.The build quality is impressive with that triangular reinforcement welded to the base. The powder coating is good so far holding up well against whatever is thrown at it.My only gripe is that the rubber pads are a bit thin and I wonder about their longevity over time. Also, the welded end caps do prevent roll-off as advertised, but they're not as tall as I'd like for complete peace of mind.For anyone who trains alone, these spotter arms remove the anxiety from pushing yourself on heavy lifts.We are in the process of remodeling our Home Gym so this will be an extra since we ordered this before we decided to order our new new Rogue Power Rack & accessories which won't be here for a few more days.

This set of spotter arms is ideal for a 2x2 rack. They are stout and made well, with ample length and width. The tops have a nice smooth rubber pad to keep your bar protected, and the metal is nice and beefy to handle a lot of weight. They rails have a little room to accommodate slight variances in rack size, but come with padding for the inside of the bracket to keep these snug. There are small hols the run the length of the brackets, and go through them. I suppose you could add a eye bolt or alike to use as an anchor point for resistance bands, which is a cool added use. All in all I'm very happy and impressed with these. Recommend!

Does exactly what it is supposed to, simple to install (the removable sleeve is a bit of a hazard if not paying attention), and supports barbells no problem to the weight limit. The two spotter arms are rock solid thick steel, the one thing to watch out for is the paint peeled a bit on one arm.
