I wasn't sure this would really work, as it was an unfamiliar shape, but it works really well. Very happy with the purchase, it mashes potatoes very efficiently and leaves them with a nice texture. Potato did not get stuck in the little holes, it was easy to mash them. Handle is comfortable. Good kitchen tool!

This review is for the MEAARTEM, Heavy Duty Potato/Vegetable Masher, Stainless Steel:I had all of my upper teeth pulled, which means I can not chew anything! Think about that one. Even larger pieces of soup are tough to deal with. Enter the MEAARTEM! This will SMASH about 80% of the foods we eat, so that we can eat more than chicken broth. Examples: 4 White &astle Dbl cheeseburgers, or an Italian sausage sandwich, (having it dipped, or wet helps a lot) STRONGLY recommended!Push down hard, with food in the bowel then rock it back and forth.I sincerely hope that this helps! :-)

so far so good! This is a little bigger than the ones i've seen at the stores, but the metal is nice and thick and it doesn't threaten to bend. The handle is a bit big, but the pressing down aspect of this particular potato masher was too much of a draw to pass up, it really saves on wrist pain and gets the job done fast! It's easily hand washed and the holes are large enough nothing really gets stuck.

The masher was hard to get to the bottom of pot to move the potatoes up to finish mashing. I had to use my hand mixer to finish the job
