This spoon is exactly what I was looking for. It is well made. The wood is strong and the scoop is a very good size. I must recommend that you use some food grade mineral oil on it before use, just as you would with any wooden implement. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a long, nice sized spoon that is well made and worth the price.

This long handled spoon was used for stirring and retrieving olives from a large tall bucket. In the process of making olives, wood is preferred to metal. These wooden utensils are very sturdy, beautiful wood and a great value for money.

I have a large pot that I use to make seafood broils. I had large stirring spoons but none of them reached the bottom to be sure nothing was sticking. I saw this on Amazon and wow I’m glad I bought it. I can stick this in my large pot because it is so large and stir the broils with ease. It is so sturdy and makes that chore so simple.

This was purchased as a gift for someone who does a lot of canning. It is 24 in. Long, made a nice wood, it is , very sturdy, the bowl of spoon is wide, the stem of spoon is not small or thin so it should not break when stirring. The wood is smooth and there is not a finish on it ( like varnish)
