I have one dog who bites his leashes and either cuts them in half or makes them unusable because they are about to snap in half. Then I have the other dog. He's a good boy. He walks on the lead like a champ and never bites it. I like him. I got this leash for the good boy. It has a "bungee" type section that gives a few extra inches of length in the event he pulls away (which he rarely does) and it has two handles. One handle is at the end like a normal leash handle. The second handle is about half way down so you can grab it and had your pup closer to you if needed like at a crosswalk entrance or when meeting someone and they are a jumper. Good boy does do that sometimes so it will come in handy. It also has a bright orange color that is easy to spot. Not that the dog can tell (they are color blind) but everyone else will.

I recently adopted a German Shepherd Dog (GSD) from a local shelter. It was a bit more spur-of-the-moment than I had intended, but I couldn't be happier. Once I got her home I quickly realized that I was lacking in a LOT of gear. I had a regular nylon leash, and I picked up a nice 30 ft leash, but I like to have more options (I love gear). When I saw this I decided to give it a try.The leash is interesting in that it has a bungie section that allows your dog to pull without it just yanking at their collar. The problem with pulling too much on the collar is that, over time, your dog can develop scar tissue in the trachea which will inhibit breathing when they're older. Little known, but it happens. Slip collars are the worst for this, but they all can do it. This kind of leash will give a bit of a buffer there. Now this isn't going to be my dominant leash. I use a prong collar a lot in training and the bungie effect inhibits the energy transferring properly, and defeats the purpose. But, for casual walks with my pup this can be very nice.Overall I'm pleased with this leash. It's not going to my primary one, but for casual walks where I'm not training this is more friendly on my dog and my joints.I recommend!

This leash has all the features I was looking for specifically for running with my dog:-SHORT (note, it is NOT 4 ft long unstretched as the description says. The section without the handle it is only 3 ft, with the handle bringing it up to 42 - 43".) This is what I want for running because a longer leash will trip me or the dog or will drag on the ground.-Stretchy: this seems to have a pretty strong bungee for shock absorption.-Very visible: I run pre-dawn. This leash is a VERY BRIGHT orange and also has reflective stitching (better than a reflective patch or strip that will wear off.)The leash also has some useful added features like a quick release buckle in the handle (to turn it into a tether) and a secondary handle close to the dog. It also has a car seatbelt buckle, but I actually think (depending on the size of your dog and the size of your car) it's probably too long to use that way. The dog might still be able to get into the front seat while buckled in the back.Overall, perfect running leash, I really like it.

Leash came very fast. I like the reflective design and the double handle. Feels sturdy for a walk with my large dog. Only con is that it is much shorter than I expected.

This leash is great. The bungee feature is great, but it doesn't really serve as a no-pull leash in our case, as our dog is a lively 80 pound golden retriever who has more energy than he knows what to do with. I especially like the fact that is' bright orange. We live right next to a state forest and take him on walks through there often, but it's always a bit concerning that he's a golden color and an irresponsible hunter may mistake him for a deer. I like this leash because I can clip it on to him in a way that it doesn't impede his running but also lets it be known that he isn't a deer.

Overall well constructed. Elastic has held up well over regular use. I love the clip for buckling the leash in.

So I was a little skeptical when I opened the leash because it seemed short but after using it for about a month consistently, I really like it. The color is bright enough to see in the day and the bright color and reflective portions make it easy to remain visible at night. The leash itself can be either a collar and leash combo or just a leash, it was slightly confusing at first but I enjoy that it has the option for both and you aren’t forced to use the leash as a collar combo. The middle is entirely expandable as the dog pulls while walking which honestly is great it makes the leash appear short but it expands and is stretchy enough that it really allows for movement freedom of the dog but not too much. It’s really thick and sturdy material with a solid clip hook as well which is a nice surprise. Overall, it’s been a quality leash definitely worth the price.
