Optisch hat uns der Artikel gefallen, aber leider ließ er sich bei keinem unserer Fahrräder anschrauben: Sie haben eine Sitzstangenfederung. Die aus der Hülse herausragende Stange, an der dann die Schelle der Hundeleine befestigt wird, war zu kurz.Außerdem haben wir beobachtet, dass die Hundeleine aus der Öse am Ende der Feder rutschen kann.

Die Leine ist bei meinem 23 kg Hund gerissen , so, dass der Hund mit dem unteren Teil der Leine inklusive Verbindungsring los und auf einen anderen Hund gehen wollte ( glücklicherweise war das direkt an der Hundeschule -hinweg-und die Trainerin vor Ort). Äußerst gefährlich sowas.

Die Montage war einfach und schnell.Bei der Probefahrt (ohne Hund) musste ich allerdings feststellen, dass die Halterung entweder für mein Fahrrad nicht geeignet ist oder das Produkt einfach unpraktisch ist, da ich beim auf und absteigen mit meinem Fuß hängen bleibe.Für mich leider ein erhöhtes Unfallrisiko, wenn man mal schnell vom Fahrrad absteigen muss, deshalb musste ich das Produkt leider zurücksenden.

This works amazing for me and my Australian shepherd. No longer worried about tangling up the leash in the tires.I mounted it upside down because my bike seat mount is high which helped with tipping when my dog pulled a little. The spring and stretch leash make it duper smooth.

I was a little worried this wouldn’t work, however it is half the price of other bike leash set ups, so I took a chance and it works well for my dog and I! Set up was easy and I attached a petbobi Bungee Dog Leash instead of the second straight leash for an extra spring like action when my dog pulls! I thought the Velcro main leash would come apart easily and I was wrong! It holds the bungee leash snug without any need for adjustments. I have my leash on the right side to keep my dog out of traffic and more to the shoulder of the road to follow the laws here and keep my dog safe away from cars. I use a second leash and collar still as a back up like others use on other products just in case of any unexpected things happening. The main rod does have the versatility to be mounted with the spring facing up or down. I faced mine up to push my dog out more because he likes to run with his head near the pedal which is why I bought this product to prevent myself from running him over. I am very satisfied with the safety this product gives me while exercising my dog, I am now able to have both hands on the handle bars with my fingers resting on the brakes!

I have a 7 month old lab that is 80lbs and full of energy from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. I would walk him in the morning, afternoon, evening and sometimes jog to try to tire him out. As soon as this arrived on my front porch I attached it to my bike which was very easy to do. I hooked up my crazy pup and we tested it out in the back yard. I walked my bike to make sure he was comfortable walking beside it also. He already knew the commands walk, and stop which helped out a lot. He got the hang of it in no time and we were off to the bike trail. I was amazed with the spring and how well it handled my dog pulling. I thought at first he would pull my wheels right out from under me but I only felt a slight tug and he was back on track. I’m very happy with the product and I’m excited to go on a bike ride with my pup tomorrow. I don’t recommend lengthening the Velcro strap If you have a strong dog. I lengthened mine and he did a quick pull and the velcro separated and my pup was no longer attached to my bike. I yelled stop and he did. I’m thankful we weren’t on a busy street. I reattached the Velcro so all of the soft side of the Velcro was attached to all of the hook part for more strength.

I was looking for a way that my dog can get more exercise without me having to run and hurt my joints and I found the perfect tool. Now he actually gets to run as much as he wants right next to me while I ride my bike. I always have one of my hands on the break just in case he tries to get too close to the wheel but for the most part he knows how to keep his distance. It didn't take long for him to get the hang of it being that the upper bar helps keep him stay far enough from the bike to avoid any friction. On the first run I had to triple wrap the leash on the bar because the hook at the top has a slight opening where the leash actually slipped out, thankfully he stopped to pee on a tree and I was able to hook him back on again. It's been about 3 weeks and I've taken him out with "triple wrappig it" for at least 5 to 6 times and it hasn't come off. Over all pretty good quality for the price, easy to install and use, I had to lift up my seat a little higher for it to fit. But works well with 100% of bikes and looks good.
