amazing product. I purchased this to protect the shifter cable on my ATV from the exhaust headers as I have already melted 2 in the past year. After 2 rides of about 3-4 hours each, the heat shield showed no signs of damage from the heat. Works as advertised and a very cost effective solution to a annoying problem.

Product appears to be well made and at a decent price. Was intending to shield the rear brake line on a motorcycle that sits near the exhaust. Unfortunately, this shield doesn't expand to fit over the banjo fittings. May still be able to use by slicing the tube and closing with zip ties, though that isn't what I had hoped to do

Worked just fine. I used it over a 5/16ths SS fuel line and it fit perfect. Although it does expand it would not expand enough to get it over the 5/16ths flare fittings so I had to cut one end of the tubing, install the product then re-flare the end.I used it on a Plymouth Flathead from the fuel pump to the carb since it goes right past the exhaust. Excellent heat shield sleeve. I use this on my fuel line on my Harley Davidson. My fuel line runs between the cylinders and is exposed to a lot of heat. I added this heat shield sleeve over my 5/16" ID fuel line to protect it from the heat from the cylinders. So far, it is working perfectly.

this was perfect for my application. Used it as wire and cable covers in a couple moped restorations. looks great and is very durable. I would nto hesitate to use it in heavy duty applications either.
