This is a good concept, but it did not maintain a consistent heat level.

When it heats up it works pretty well, you gotta make sure you get the correct battery pack cause the lower wattage ones don't work well (I think you want 7.2 or better) and it does not come with batteries. There are more expensive ones but fornthe price of thos one you really can't beat it. Oh! And it's not your typical hoodie this thing is heavy and very cozy in most cases I don't even need the heat.( think winter in Georgia) and I believe I got a 3x and it was a 3x. I usually get my items larger cause they tend to be smaller than expected. This was not the case for this item

I was impressed that you can't tell at all by looking at it that this sweatshirt has all this heater stuff going on inside. It looks like a normal sweatshirt. But we seemed to get a malfunctioning one bc it barely heated up at all. We could just barely feel a slight temp difference and only on one area. My son was disappointed. We returned it.

I've worn this throughout the time I've had it but I was able to really put it to the test recently at a graduation. While the graduation was inside, we were outside for photo ops and all sorts of pictures due to all the backdrops and displays that were out. While inside, I didn't have to turn it on which was really nice. The moment we went outside, I immediately turned it on to medium and was really nice and warm. Even when I put the hood on, there is no heating pads in there, my head and neck stayed nice and warm. The inside is really soft and I typically do wear a 3X in sweaters and jackets and that is what I ordered. It fit perfectly with a some wiggle room. It wasn't too tight or too lose but I noticed if I want, I could wear a sweater with this and it would still have some wiggle room. The battery pack that it comes with is really easy to charge and depending on where I have the heat set at, it will last a really long time too.
