For sure, a little tight fit but they do the job. I use them in the pizza oven to grab pans. I think a decent value but careful with the size if you have bigger hands.

these are great for hot and cold. I can not go into my deep freeze with out these. they run large but It doesn't matter to me because they work in extreme temperatures. Are made well and last

I bake bread in a cast iron Dutch oven. I preheat the Dutch oven in a 500F oven. After a half hour I remove the cast iron pan with these gloves. Your hands don't burn up. You will feel heat at some point but removing the pan , dropping in your dough and returning it, your hands will be protected. Seriously better than mittens as you have more control. Worth the investment. Your hands will thank you.

I was very surprised at how well they work. I was a bit skeptical when I grabbed them to use for the first time. I pulled a almost burning pizza out of a 550 degree oven with them, that was over flowing with hot pizza sauce as well as grease from pepperoni. Yep a real hot mess literally in my hands. And they worked very well no burns on my hands, but I was just starting to feel some of the heat from the pan, but not enough to bother me about what I was doing with them. And they did get some of the hot pizza sauce and grease on them and they really needed to be cleaned afterwards. I just ran them under the water in my sink and worked in some dish soap and scrubbed a little bit and rinsed them off, and hung them to dry by the hook loops that are inside them. They did take a couple days to dry, but they came out just great.

I bought a pair to help me BBQ a turkey and beef ribs on my gas grill. It worked pretty well at first to keep the heat away from my hands but with continued use I noticed some heat coming through. The glove got in contact with a partially cooked turkey and I realized a waterproof version might have been better. I'm a 5'9 male with what I think are ave size hands but the fit was pretty tight. Going up to the XL size might have been better. The gloves are some kind of closth material with some coating randomly on it. The heat does come through the cloth material

I find the fit tight for my large size hands so if you have bigger hands they may be hard to put on
