Our old scale fell apart….this is a scale made right here in the USA! NO Batteries, heavy duty, accurate….I hope the needle goes left a little more when I use it….but the Holidays are coming! Yikes

I found the scale to be accurate. I purchased it because it is the same one in the doctors office . The markers between the larger increments are quite small but that’s not an issue when it comes to a healthy weight the larger markers will do it . My disappointment is the scale came damaged a large crack going across the plastic dome face with a smaller chunk of plastic in the bottom of the plastic bag as I removed the scale from the box . I contacted the seller with 2 photos of the damage , did not hear back , I contacted Amazon , same thing did not hear back. For the cost of the scale I wanted it to be in good condition when it arrived. I would have purchased it in a store if I could find one then chose a scale that wasn’t broken .

Not much to say about a scale, especially if watching your weight is the issue, ha ha ha. It works but it is hard to read the weight increments and we have had to adjust to zero each time we use it. It's a heavy-weight so I expect it will out live us!

Scale is very heavy, which I like since it will be sturdy. But had to recalibrate every time I used it and the numbers were pretty hard for me to read.

I deliberated over 3 or 4 scales and was concerned that some previous reviewers indicated this scale was hard to zero or that they had to constantly re-set it. Ultimately the thing that sold me was the high % of reviewers who gave it a 5 rating, and I have had no problems zeroing it. I set it once and it is still fine.My only complaint is, while I like the 1-pound increments, the hash marks are difficult to read. I feel the numbers and hash-marks could be bigger or maybe they could incorporate a magnified window over the dial as I have had in other scales. The 5- and 10-pound hash-marks are easy enough to see so I can pretty ball-park what is in-between.I am confident of its accuracy. I bought this to replace a digital scale that I had only had for a few months and this reads the same weight as did the digital scale (I was buying batteries every 3-4 weeks and decided it was time to cut my losses). All in all I feel this was a good value and I am pleased with it.

Scale seems to be very accurate and easy to use. Dial is large and numbers are fairly easy to read. My only complaint is that the actual scale is larger than what is stated in the description. Maybe this was just a typo, but it makes a difference if you are shopping for a scale to fit in a certain spot. The description states it is 11 x 10 x 3 1/2. Actual size is 17 1/2" L x 11" W x 3 1/2" H. I'm letting others know in case they have size restrictions.

This is a great scale and a wonderful tool to have in your home for weight management. However, keep in mind that when you're standing on it, if you're near sighted seeing the numbers is going to be difficult. I find myself standing on the scale and photographing it from above and then enlarging the photo on my phone so I can see where the needle is LOL. Other than that it's a great scale. It's heavy duty and accurate and I know I will have it for many years.

I foolishly ordered this scale even after reading negative reviews about the needle not being attached upon opening. Sure enough when I received the scale and opened the packaging, there was no needle on the dial. A slight shake confirmed that the needle dislodged and was loose inside the scale. As I am stationed in South Korea, returning the item would have been more of a hassle than just junking it. I opened it up (thus voiding the warranty) and retrieved the needle. After some painstaking problem solving to figure out how to reattach the springs that hold the two pieces of the scale together, I was back in business, or so I thought. The scale needs to be massively adjusted every time someone gets on and off of it. I just placed a water bottle with exactly 24 ounces of water in it, 1 1/2 pounds, on the scale and the needle didn't even attempt to move. This thing is worthless. Save your money. I now have a $40 door stop.
