IGNORE THE GHOSTING IN THE PHOTOS -- While testing, I did not use the adhesive screen. The screen prevents the ghosting caused by dual-pane windshields.I actually grabbed this for my golf cart. I wanted a speedo for it and though this would be cool. Eh.It takes 30+ seconds after power-up to obtain satellites. I tried from two different locations about 10 miles apart. Same delay. I do not know if other GPS speedos are like this as this is my first stand-alone unit. Your results may vary.It's accuracy is +1 +2 mph. On the highway at 65 mph, the accuracy got worse, +3 mph off. I also tested it against an iPhone GPS app and the app was nearly spot on with my SUV. I also noticed that when you accelerate and brake, the unit need to catch up, often times having 3-4 mph swings.Because this need to reflect back to you, the angle of your windshield does have an effect on the how the display looks. Depending on the angle of the unit, the reflection will either look as if you are look down at the numbers or up at the numbers. It's not terrible, but I found that in my SUV, to get the reflection to look symmetrical, I had to tilt the unit back to the point you could see the LEDs on the dash. I tried to capture it on video but it did not turn out well so I left it out. I also noticed that the unit is visible from outside the vehicle.If you just need something as a HUD, it works ok. Unfortunately I do not have other similar units to compare it to so I can't say if my findings are common or specific to this model. For myself, I am not going to use this in my golf cart.

Can't give 0 starts so had to give 1 star. Instructions said when it powers up the satellite icon would flash for minute. What really happened is the entire display flickered for almost 10 minutes. Unplugged it and tried again, same result. Packed it back up and returned it.
