I mainly use this when i walk the dog at 4am. I like how i can see where we are walking and see poop so i can pick it up.When we go inside the house, i use this still to groom him and check him for fleas and ticks with this lamp. It is so bright and i can really see my dog's skin. I also use this when i clean his teeth. Im planning on using this when i clip his nails to ensure i dont get his quickI wear my hair in a bun and this headlamp sits comfortably on my head. The garter straps are adjustable. The lamp itself has a base which curves to the forehead so it js nice and secure and comfortable.Battery life is amazing. Ive only charged this once since the 30 days ive been using thisThis headlamp is one thing i didnt know i need til i got it

As a single mom I do most of the work on my car myself that I can. It’s hard to see under the car and under the hood. Not only the convenience of it being hands free is great, but the brightness of the light is absolutely amazing. I even turned off my bedroom lights (I have blackout curtains) and it lit up my entire room. Absolutely love this!!!

Bought this headlamp for my husband to work in crawl space and attic. Very bright and could wear for long time without any issues. Also has multiple settings such as high, low and blinking which helps with different conditions.

This is an amazing headlamp. The light is so bright and it last a long time. Very heavy duty. Comfortable to wear not as heavy as you think it would be with the rechargeable battery pack that's attached.

This high power zoom headlamp is fantastic--a large step forward in the evolution of extra bright headlamps. There have been super powerful headlamps on the market for at least ten years, all based on the standard 18650 battery, and most of those using two in parallel. This headlamp represents the newest and brightest LED's as well as the use of USB charging technology. It is considerably brighter than the top of the line lamps five or ten years ago, has a great bulb reflector, has three light levels plus a strobe/SOS setting, and it adds flickering and moving colored back lights for someone biking at night. The head mount is wide and curved to fit your forehead and is larger than earlier headlamps. The straps are great--much larger and thicker with great elastic quality. The brightness in a large living room is incredible-it is lit up by headlights. The zoom is a little hard to push forward, which is to be expected and with the zoom, it lights up the other side of a half mile wide lake. I have four issues with it: The instructions are not very good; it is a major job figuring out how to untangle the components of the light with the elastic straps being woven in and out around the two solid components--the lamp, and the battery pack. The third and fourth aspects ares more troubling to me. The battery pack has two 18650 batteries but the seller says discard the the headlamp when the power wouldn't recharge well enough. They should have made the battery pack to open and replace the existing batteries with new high quality high mah power ones. You can see the four screws holding it together, and they should be removable using a good quality phillips head screwdriver. A more serious issue is that this is not water proof--it's rating is only IPX54. (they have changed the ratings now to say it is IPX7) and I don't know if that is accurate or not). I'm leaving my review based on IPX54--the flap covering the C input plug was flappy and not well anchored. It did not correspond to what I am used to seeing for IPX7. There are excellent alternatives which which are IPX67--a very major step and truly waterproof. The one aspect I can't judge is price. The last time I bought a couple of these earlier generation ones, they were about $15.00, and this one is considerably more. inflation is obviously responsible for a good bit of the higher price, and newer technology in the bulbs and 'tailgate' electronics add also. I'd shop around a bit online to see if this represents the typical current price--I suspect it does. I don't know if there is a certified rating organization, but if there is, I'd like to see its rating on this and on other lights which claim waterproofness.Overall, do like this headlamp, but its waterproofness is an issue. I recommend it firmly however- This is top of line.
