I chose this headboard cover in gray and I am very happy with it. I'm using it on a headboard that has a metal frame with an off-white, padded, upholstered fabric insert. I don't love fabric upholstered headboards because over time hair grease tends to build up on them, which looks gross and has a definite ick factor to it, and obviously you can't put a headboard in the washing machine to clean it. This headboard cover is the perfect solution because it easily pops on and off and can be washed in the washing machine. It protects the headboard's upholstery and keeps it clean, and in the case of this bed, the gray color matches my son's room better than the off-white upholstery does.The cover is stretchy for a good fit, and it fits well and looks nice even though my son's headboard is not the exact shape of the cover (the cover slightly curves and slopes at the top but mine is all 90-degree angles). My son's bed is a queen size, and the queen-size cover stretches over the headboard perfectly; it's neither too loose nor too tight. Even though my son's headboard isn't as thick as the cover, I was able to arrange the cover so that it doesn't look baggy, and it also stays in place. The cover arrived vacuum-packed, so the fabric was wrinkled upon arrival (as expected). I was thinking the wrinkles would pull out after being stretched over the headboard, but after a few weeks the wrinkles hadn't budged. So I took it off the headboard and tumble it in a hot dryer for about 15 minutes, and the wrinkles disappeared.Overall, I'm pleased with this headboard cover. The fabric is durable; it's a textured velour that machine-washes and dries well. The cover is easy to put on and take off for washing. This cover is not fancy or formal, but it looks nice and the gray color is a good neutral that looks coordinates with the other shades of gray in my son's room. He is not the best about making up a great-looking bed, but this headboard cover helps with the overall look of his bed, in addition to keeping the white fabric underneath nice and clean.
