Way better gaming experience with this not just the feel but the battery last a good 2 hours easy. Doesn't take that long to charge.

So, my son likes UT much better than the basic one the meta comes with.

This headstrap for the Meta Quest 3 proves a mixed bag of comfort and compromise. Its snug fit delivers an immersive experience, hugging the contours of the head securely. The plush padding enhances wearability during extended VR sessions, ensuring comfort without undue pressure. In short, it's worlds ahead of the included headstrap. However, the Achilles' heel lies in the choice of plastic material, which regrettably feels subpar and cheap. The overall build lacks the premium touch expected in tandem with the Meta Quest 3. While the headstrap excels in comfort and fitting, potential buyers should weigh the tactile trade-off of the budget-feel plastic against the enhanced ergonomic experience it offers. Also my unit had some odd grey marks on it (almost like pencil marks, but wider?) Was able to clean it off, but very odd to arrive like that.

The headstrap is very comfortable, I have been using it since Jan 2024. The cushion on the back of the head is not firmly affixed and can pop off but is easily snapped into place. My issue is with the battery - It is no longer holding charge like it used to. Within 45 minutes it is drained (used to be MUCH better) and since the battery is part of the headset, there is no method to swap it out.Really NOT a bad strap, but be aware of what you are purchasing.

Works as intended and balances the weight on your head

I don't disagree that this adds comfort by balancing the weight. The angled straps help with removal also. But my complaint is that even with it fully charged it cannot keep the headset charged while using it. The headset battery level steadily drops even though there's plenty of charge in the extra battery. My headset is down to 19% at this point with the auxiliary battery being at close to 75% if the LEDs are accurate. This is just unacceptable since it's designed to be used with this headset. Well it does add to the time you get to use the headset, it is nowhere near the potential advertised. Until they increase the power output I definitely don't recommend using this product.Update: I stuck with using this headset addition. After a week using it I started noticing that the headset internal battery remained at 100% until the extra battery was fully discharged. I seemed to get 2ish hours of use before that happened, so I'm getting happier with the results.

The product information states it has a 6000mah battery. The box it comes in also states that. However the user manual states two batteries "with a combined charge of 3000mah". I fully charged the headstrap and attached it to my quest 3. I played for about and hour and a half and it was fully drained. I have a battery pack i had been using that was 5000mah. Usually I'd get 2-3 hours with that pack. Compared to that pack I'd say the user manual is probably correct stating it has only a 3000mah charge. The weight at the back offsets the weight of the quest 3 on the front of your head. Overall it's a good product, but I feel they false advertise that the battery is larger than it is. I still feel like it's a decent headstrap for the price. If I see an increase in play time over the hour in a half I got the first use, I will update this review.***Update***So I've used it at least ten times now and I timed three uses. After about an hour the battery back is fully drained, each use that I timed it is usually fully drained around an hour. Tonight I played for two hours and the battery was dead and my headset at 71%. There is no way this pack would allow a total of six hours play time. I did play four hours one day and the battery pack was dead, and the headset at 20%. Do not expect this pack to give you a long day of play time. Considering what I paid for this battery pack($40), I feel beyond ripped off.
