In the past I have worn these socks for years, outside while wearing boots, and they always held up great. A bit pricey when you add in shipping, but worth it. As they finally started to fail I ordered some new socks but in about a month of normal wear, while wearing normal shoes and not working outside or anything a hole has already opened in the sole. The material itself seems thinner and of a different consistancy.IMO opinion they just aren't worth the price anymore. Begining to fail at 1 month doesn't bode well for these things.

My husband has been wearing these socks for years and LOVES them! When I went to order more I couldn't find all black which is what he had. I bought the gray and black that looked just like them thinking they were replaced with them. Is that true? Or do you still have all black! Either way, they are both Amazing socks.Thanks!Diane Zsevc

If you are looking for a replacement of the thick HEAD socks that used to be sold in COSTCO, SAMS or Kirkland....these are NOT them. They are much thinner, sheer and stretchier. This also states fits size 6-13...I wear and 11 and CANNOT keep them from sliding down into my shoes and bunching at the toes because they are so huge. Disappointed.

I love these socks! I discovered them years ago in Costco but then they couldn't be found again in black. While these are not completely black; i.e. the sole and toe are gray, they are the closest to what I had hoped to find. The cushion is certainly noticeably more comfortable when compared to other more ordinary socks. I would love to see a bit more cushion, though. The rest of the sock construction provides comfort and warm that is also not found in ordinary socks. I use these socks daily for day-to-day wear, exercising, and bicycling.
