The Radical S is a powerful and speedy frame that whips through the ball very quickly thanks to its head light balance and graphite construction. Graphene XT is the latest adaptation of Graphene technology which re-distributes weight from the center of the frame to the hoop and the handle offering a faster feel that lets you swing with more speed and power. The Radical S is an excellent racquet for doubles players because of the slightly larger head size and the forgiveness that it provides. While very easy to maneuver at net, the racquet can be put in place for quick reaction volleys as well.

This racket was a recommendation from a friend. I borrowed it from him to try it out, and I was impressed that it was so lightweight, and had a large sweet spot. It also helps to generate more power. For the person who asked the question “ how many pounds is the racket prestrung to? I have an amended answer. The racket is prestrung 48-57 pounds of tension.

The new racquet has a bigger head size and lighter than my old Head Prestige. I added more weight to make it head heavy and will get use to the bigger head size.

Me gustó bastante la Head radical S, aunque al Principio es difícil de controlar por su ligereza , cuando se encuentra su punto medio de juego es muy cómoda y favorable. Si punto débil es el mango de agarre o grip que es muy resbaladizo así qué hay que ponerle un over a la brevedad .

Now getting back into tennis after a decade+, I picked up this as well as a Head Geo speed (the ones you can pick up at walmart for ~$40-$50). As you might expect, there was a night and day difference between the two.The Head Graphene XT Radical S feels significantly better to serve, swing and volley with. So out of the box (with no strings/tension changes) it gives you that confidence to hit deep shots and definitely has a nice feel/feedback.Comparable, if not better than my old Prince Warrior TripleThreat
