Does your dog instantly crack dental bones in half then swallow them? Pig ears finished in an instant? Does your pup bully the bully stick into submission in seconds? These bones are for you! It takes my mega chewer gsd 45 mins to get through 1/4-1/3. He also has a somewhat sensitive stomach but handles these great.Worth the price as they will save you money in the long term.

I actually canceled my auto order because the price discount for having it in auto order went up to around $10 more than just buying it out right. Buyer beware, even if an auto reoccurring order initially has a discount, pay attention that it isn’t hiked up beyond the normal price, which by definition is never a discount. This product is otherwise the best I have ever seen for a dog. It does make a mess on anything what so ever and I have over 35 years experience with dogs. This is the first bone that doesn’t stain or leave a mess around the house except for any little bits that your pets may choose not to eat.

I’ve got two large Alaskan Malamutes. Male 130 lbs and a female 90 lbs. These dogs are of the temperment where I can pull out one of these, and they will take turns consuming it one and off few are few days before it is gone. The key to any of these types of rawhide bones is IF you have a dog that can’t wait to swallow a piece before spending any time chewing it to soften it up, then any compressed rawhide bone that is 10” or 12” is probably a poor choice for your dog. I’ve been buying the 12” bones for two years now and will continue to do so. These things are GREAT!

This is about the 10th time I have ordered these for my two large dogs. I like the pressed rawhide because they last longer and they can't bite off large pieces they can swallow whole or choke on. I am convinced that by offering these chews to my boys, I have avoided costly dental cleanings at the vet. Their teeth "look like puppy teeth" (quote from my veterinarian). One dog is 6 and the other is almost 10. The almost 10 yr. old was adopted at age 6 and his teeth have improved tremendously since we got him. These bones are formed with only steam and rawhide, not with formaldehyde or lye like some of the bones from China. I can give these treats to my dogs with confidence and they love them.

Our Doberman plows through just about any bone in a few hours. These "generally" last 2 - 3 nights, but a couple have been disappointing and only lasted a few hours. It seems sometimes they "come apart" and when they do, he can munch the thing gone in a few hours. But if they stay compressed, they are good to go. I'd say about every 4th or 5th one comes up short, but it's still a good deal.

Update update 01-22-2015 - Switched to Complete Natural Nutritio Terrabone Regular size. It is compressed brown rice made in USA and the dog and his cousin dogs love them. And... they last just as long as these did without me having to worry about him ingesting too much rawhide.**UPDATE** - Problem~ I have been ordering at least two shipments a year of these bones but my most recent order of these bones was a disaster! The bones are now only half as thick, tossed in a box without any of the former shrink wrapping of each bone and have bits of sticker all over them. They look like they were bought on a remainder sale and someone else's product stickers were badly removed. I am sending them back immediately. The dog would be able to bite thru these much thinner bones in a very short time. I have noticed an terrible consistency problem with products provided by this seller. You receive different quality of product from one shipment to the next. I will have to find a new provider. My lab can demolish a regular rawhide bone in a matter of an hour or so. Those huge 24" knotted rawhide bones as big as your forearm? They don't even last two days with him. This took three days of SOLID chewing. Since he has to be chewing on something... this is a good value for him and he seemed to really like it. I like that it did not end up in miltiple pieces like the knotted rawhide bones AND since he had to work harder on it, he ingested much smaller pieces of rawhide and a lot less overall volume. inconsistent quality

My dogs are 50 & 30 lbs and they both love these. I got the biggest bones I could find for them because they go through them so fast. These are working out great. They last long and don't constantly break off into large pieces. They will get pieces off and I have to throw them out so they don't choke on them, but it's not that often like other ones I've tried. These are made in China if you're concerned about that, but I haven't been able to find a pressed rawhide that's made in the USA. At the time, I bought these for $45 and I thought it was a good price.

I have large dogs and these bones last a long time for them. I always make sure I watch them while they chew in case they would happen to choke. I only let them have the bones for 15-20 minutes at a time to reduce the chance of getting large chunks off. They are satisfied with this amount of time and the bones last longer this way. They are a good product and I also bought them because it said in the description that they are made in the USA.
