I didn’t find the field of view that much wider than other 1.8mm lenses, but this one has a protruding curved rounded glass that may press against some video camera housings, so make sure yours has enough space

I've purchased this lens from various sellers as it's a common/generic lens from China. Just look for identical white markings on the lens barrel. This works just as good as the ones I've purchased from other sellers.I'm using this in Wyze cams and it works in both the V2 and V3 providing a super wide almost fish-eye view. I would estimate the FOV of the 1.8 to be around 170 degrees. You can see how to install these on Youtube. It's very easy on the Wyze V2 and moderately difficult on the V3. Unfortunately you won't be able to put the V3 back together with the lens in place.Once installed and focused on something distant, the image is crystal clear.I've tried 1.7 mm lenses and you start to see the corners of the image will get cut off so I wouldn't recommend those for Wyze.

The supplied lens did not have an IR cut filter. It is not as described.

I wanted to get FOV about 180 degrees. But on camera with 1/3" sensor the real field was only about 110 degrees with this lense. In addition - there were no any markings, any ID printed on lens. So I have no idea even was it correct lense shipped! The order was for Yohii CCTV 1.8mm, 1/25" lense. Not worth to return...
