I ordered on June 23 - 2022. It's September 12th 2024 and it stopped spinning the fan.I gave it three stars because it really made a difference in my coolant temperature. I recommended on the Explorer forums, was one of the best upgrades I have done. Yes, it made my fan loud but that's to be expected.Just a bit disappointed in how long it didn't last.Edit. I called Hayden customer service, they answered quickly and were very polite. However they didn't offer any help.I would buy another one right now if it would last as long as the stock fan clutch lasted........instead of a year and three months.

This fan clutch has worked as designed and when combined with Dorman 620-155 fan keeps the engine cool enough while idling at a stop in 95 F ambient temperature. No need for the electric fan on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I used this in combination with "Dorman 620-149 Engine Cooling Fan Blade Compatible with Select Ford Models" as my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0l engine did NOT come from Jaspers with a Fan, as a result would continuously overheat.. The fan itself was quality, however you will need to get some bolts to attach the 2 pieces as well as some BLUE Loctite to hold it all together. Also note that the fan shroud needs to be partially uninstalled, then the fan installed AT THE SAME TIME TOGETHER.. meaning you put them both back into place together as the most efficient solution. Look on YouTube and you'll see several videos. My 4.0liter jeep would NOT come down to normal temps, so if you're seeing the same, consider the mechanical fan when 'just' the electric will not do.. After installing this, it doesn't even budge past.. PROBLEM SOLVED!!

Like so many others I used this to replace my electric fan on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Bolted right on. Worked great. Pairs perfectly with the Dorman 620-155 fan. Tip: The fan shroud is hard to remove. I just ground off the three bolts for the old electric fan, cut the electric connector off, and slid the old fan right out. I didn't have to lift the radiator or pull the shroud off to install the new mechanical fan clutch and fan.

This part was a retro fit on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee4.0 engine. The electric fan was not working, so I installed a new water pump with a threaded male end. I purchase this clutch for a 2001 Ford Explorer and the 11 blade fan for the 2001 Ford Explorer. The mount bolts to install the fan on to the clutch were not included, Auto Zone had the correct screws, Ace Hardware also carries them. I rented the installation wrenches from Auto Zone and installed the new fan clutch and fan combination as one unit and the temperature gauge on the Jeep doesn't go over 190 and the a/c is ice cold, there are videos on YouTube, this actually worked perfectly!
