We are a group of individuals who love to create, experiment and inspire. When we were kids the kitchen was our laboratory, and as adults we transitioned to the bar. Cocktails became our passion; we’ve been exploring different recipes and techniques for longer than we can remember. We have always fully embraced the do-it-yourself movement; it’s the way we live our lives and what we love to share with others. Through this, The Art of Craft was born.

Seems well made, very tight spring coil so filters better than most. But also pours slower due to the tighter coils, for me speed is not an issue though.

I love a Manhattan now and then. We did not have a bar strainer so checked Amazon. Have used it for a few months and we are very happy with it. Finish is good. Nice heft to it. Seems well made. I would purchase it again.

If you're looking at Hawthorne strainers, you're probably getting at least a bit serious about cocktails. I'm not quite full bore (no, I don't have a set up for making smoked cocktails) but I've been at it for a while and this is a nice piece of gear. It's well designed, solid, and has a high-quality spring (unlike the cheap loosely wound springs you see on the junk versions you'll see in a grocery store). Easily recommended - you'll be happy with it.

When making cocktails (shaking them) in my cheater tin, I had a hard time holding strainer in the proper position, but not with this one! The design is much better: it's easier for me to hold (I have very small hands), and the fit on the tin is much better. No more battling with gaps between the strainer and the tin!

This strainer is really good quality. I am a bartender and use this at home for making drinks. I am accustomed to strainers with rubber in the middle for better grip but this works just as good.
