Where has this been? Honestly. If you've never felt the shaking numb legs after sitting on a bucket for an hour, you have no need. It reduces any pressure on the thighs and makes it easier to move as needed. I've had way less mishaps and injuries now that the swivel and balance is improved. I have to fight everyone that tries to rush into the dugout and try and get the throne before me. Go buy your own! This is a total must have for any baseball or softball coach and bucket catcher.My only small request is a way for me to carry the bucket with the seat still attached. I can carry a lot, but this would elevate it into the year 3000. Having to keep a separate lid and carry both is a small price I will pay till the butt saver 2.0 comes out.

I used this seat in an elevated box blind. The metal chair I had broke the first day of the season. This seat isn't 100% silent buts its better than the other blind chairs I've had. Blackout, Muddy. And Hawk metal blind chairs all make noise if you shift you weight or spin. This seat doesn't make any annoying "ping" or "creek" metal sounds. You can hear it make noise when you spin but it doesn't make me hesitant to pivot. The contour keeps you centered over the bucket and prevents you from sliding forward or back. Also, I do have sciatica, I've dealt with it for over 30 years, I was ok in this seat. I put it on a home depot bucket, plenty of room near my feet so i could pivot without being overly cautious if the heel of my boots would strike it, metal chairs you need to exercise caution when spinning. FYI, i never rate anything five stars.

My husband bought this for me for deer season. I was upset at first thinking no way this was going to be comfortable, but boy was I wrong. I sat in it all day never leaving my stand on 3 different days. Not only is it comfortable, but it swivels nice and quiet. I will be buying more for the other stands we are going to build for next year. Another nice thing about this is you can store items you don't want to drag back and forth inside the bucket, where they stay nice and dry and you don't have to worry about mice or squirrels getting into it.

Absolutely love this seat for catching my daughter who is a pitcher. Does not fit on a bucket of balls. Have to buy a regular 5 gallon bucket and it fits like a glove!!! 100% approve and love love!!!!!

I was skeptical, but true to the other reviews and the product advertising, it actually does work, is really sturdy, seems well-made, is fairly comfortable, and really is silent. I may take the advice of one of the other reviewers and put some sort of lubricant on the swivel just to make it move a bit smoother, but it does work well as is. I've ordered other "sit n spin" type seats only to find they didn't spin and/or wouldn't fit a 5 gallon bucket. This one fits my bucket perfectly. My only beef - I was disappointed it didn't arrive when it said it would. Was 3 days late and we'd have missed the opener if we waited. Still, I believe it will also be great for working in the garden and when working on my cars. I'm going to buy one for my husband who can't sit still for more than 2 seconds and moves from blind to blind all day long (I keep telling him "You can't see deer if you're not in your blind sitting still!" LOL. It will be easy enough for him to carry with him to sit on! Definitely recommend!
