Havaianas Women's Core Flip Flops

These flip flops are advertised as being for women only, but they're actually unisex; the sizing is slightly larger than usual. The slim Havaianas model are actually for women and are sized appropriately. My US men's shoe size is 7 or approximately 24.5 mm centimeters, the Brazilian size 37-38 or 7-8 is equivalent to my shoe size. These are great flip flops aside from the confusing sizing, very comfortable.

If your size is the top number in a size, e.g., 8 in the size 7/8, you may want the next size. I wear a half size and the slipper fit me exactly toe to heel, no extra length.

Great quality flip flops. Fits the way I expected and is true to size. Nice style and also good traction to not slip. I love the classy navy color that matches everything.

Comfortable and it did not hurt my feet

I've been wearing haviana's for years and they are the most durable flip-flop on the market. I bought some "high end" flip flops at a specialty store in the Philippines, and they just don't even compare to the havaianas. Haviana's are super comfortable, you can walk in them for hours without getting blisters, and the color does not fade after several years. These are a great value for the money because they last so long. I use them for shower shoes when I travel too

I bought these for my daughter and they are perfect fit. The top falls right at the arch so they aren't rubbing under heel. They do need a little breaking in but that is good as they are well made.

I am an avid Havainas wearer and will not wear any other flip flop. The flatform is the perfect solution for a smarter flip flop for a petite lady.

Too broad, seems scuffed and seems like they are about to break anytime. My previous pairs never felt so flimsy.

These are definitely my favorite flip flops. I got a pair in Navy Blue a few years ago and absolutely loved them. Somewhere along the way I lost track of them and I've missed them ever since. Living in the heat of the South, I've gone through several pairs of flip flops over the years but never quite fell in love with any as much as these. Or if I did love a pair I would wear them so much they would break down and fall apart... some even developed funky odors rendering them unwearable.Admittedly it may seem a bit odd to be professing love for a pair of flip flops. In particularl these as they are fairly standard looking as far as flip flops go. But there's just something about the shape of this particular brand and model (the Top, not the Slim) that seems to flatter my foot more than any other flip flop. I can't explain it. Is it because I have wider than average feet? Anywho, aside from vanity they're just super comfy and their weight is ideal - not too heavy and bulky, but still of substance. They're also very convenient - good at the beach/pool/shower and they also have enough cushioning (for me at least) to do plenty of walking if I need to. Of course, as with any flip flop, I would not go hiking or do any activities that would require actual traction. They aren't as sturdy as, say, Rainbows, but honestly I far prefer the feel of rubber under my feet. I tend to find leather very drying. Still, though, they are sturdy enough and they seem to hold up to wear and tear with ease so I trust they will last quite a while, assuming one doesn't lose them.Thus, for the aforementioned reasons, I finally got myself another pair, again in Navy Blue a few months ago when they were on sale and I have not been disappointed. A note on sizing - I generally wear a women's size 8, on the nose. Apparently, after looking through my order history, when I ordered these the first time I got a size 39/40 (US 8/9). This time, for some unknown reason I ended up ordering a size 37/38 (US 7/8) and the fit feels perfectly fine to me. Maybe my feet have shrunk? Honestly I don't remember ever being dissatisfied with larger size, so my thinking is that the sizing might be rather flexible. If you prefer tighter fitting flops order down, if you prefer having plenty of flop behind your heel order up. But who knows, maybe I have weird feet.Oh, and for reference - in the picture of the flip flops next to a black slide on - the black slide on is size 8 & 1/2. I threw in the blue notebook for color reference. I suppose size 37/38 does just barely fit my foot, but that's the way I prefer it as I usually end up tripping over flip flops that are much longer. As long as my foot's not falling off the edge of the shoe I'm happy.EDIT August 2018: Still my favorite pair of flip flops and still going strong! These even went with me when I moved to Bangkok, Thailand and back. Must haves.EDIT December 30 2020: Still my favs. Have gone with me on a move from the (U.S.) South to the Pacific North West, and on trips between the two.
