Bought as gift, they were grateful. Very durable & easy to understand set up. Box it came in fell apart, but was in a very nice bag. Great for keeping under bed or in a closet. Very Nice!

The ladder is small and strong and can be installed quickly and easily. It comes with a storage case and can be stored under a bed or in a closet without taking up a lot of space.

I originally bought this for my 11-year-old son who has had a recent worry about our house catching on fire. It is cumbersome for an 11-year-old to manage on his own because the weight and rings, so I definitely keep this in my bedroom instead of his. I think the angle of his window and where it is above a bay window is very tricky for him, but he was relieved to have this in our house. It’s a lot for one person to manage - to connect to the window sill - but I can see how it’s a vital thing to have in your house. Once it is out of the box an adult can easily use this and it looks like it’s a great fire escape.

The only thing I do not like about this product is the edges of the step are too sharp, I feel they can be smoother.

Thankfully, we have not had to use this item. All of our bedrooms are on the upper floor at our house so we have one of these ladders readily available in each room. I started thinking about what we would do in the event of a fire on the main floor or had to evacuate any room from upstairs for whatever reason.... and I quickly realized this was not something I wanted to figure out on the fly. My wife and i feel much better knowing they are available. They seem sturdy and come in a nice bag, we hope we never have to test them in real life but the peace of mind is worth every penny!

The value for the money spent on the safety of my family is worth every cent spent. The weight is easy enough for an 8 year old to lift. The build quality is great for the design and safety of the family. The ladder fits under my sons bed beside the window.

The rungs being away from the house make it less dangerous and much easier to use. Strong hook keeps it well-anchored on the window sill.
