This was definitely one of my daughter’s favorite gifts she received. The little animals are so cute and it was fun to watch this happen as the water was poured in. The little animals themselves seem fairly durable but they are quite small.

Ordered these as a Christmas gift for my kids, not really knowing what they were. The hatching part was pretty neat, but it seemed excessively messy and wasteful at the same time. Colorful dye comes out as the creatures “hatch”. It only takes a few seconds and you’re left with so much plastic to throw away. The little figurines themselves are much smaller than I expected. (One of these is on the left, pictured with a Magic Mixies Mixling for scale.) I got a pack for each of my kids, not realizing each pack was exactly the same, so that was also a bit disappointing. Overall not something I would buy again.

My kids enjoyed watching these hatch. The price was reasonable and the hatching was quite entertaining. My 72 year old mother thought it was pretty neat to watch too. We enjoyed watching the kids get excited over the colors mixing while they waited patiently. Cute toy. Recommended for 4-8 years old!

Awesome Christmas gift for my 6 year old daughter. She was so excited to see the rainbow form and the eggs hatch! She still has fun playing with the cute little characters.

Great toy but I will forwarn you. Change the water inbetween each hatchling. If you dont it really starts to look disturbingly or perhaps realistic (of a real birth or hatching). I mean your kids can learn from it, I suppose. Change the water, yeah just change the water. Some of them do pink or purple while hatching but mixing them, unless your going for a realistic hatchling birth, is not recommended. Now when they do start to hatch, dont help them, its super cool to watch them pop out.

My daughter loves hatchimals, and this did not disappoint as a Christmas gift. Seemed to be well constructed, as it is holding up well with a lot of use. She loves all the different colors, and this one seemed to be the most hatchimals-per-dollar, if there is such a thing 😂

My children and their friends love Hatchimals and they love to collect these small ones! The little egg crate is fun to play with, and they love collecting the little creatures and putting them in the crate. So cute!

We recently bought this Hatchimal product for our kids, and it was such a hit! The process of cracking the eggs was super easy, and they worked perfectly as described. The way the colors drained and swirled during the process was mesmerizing — the kids couldn’t stop watching!It is a little messy, so I’d recommend setting up on a table with some paper towels or a tray underneath to catch any drips. But honestly, the fun and excitement were well worth the clean-up. The surprise inside was a big hit, too.Overall, this was a fantastic activity that kept the kids entertained and excited. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or as a fun gift idea!

It’s cute but only 1/2 the eggs hatched when the water was brought to the level. The colors are pretty…for a minute until they all mix and make it black. Not really worth the money for 6 figurines, but it put a smile on my daughter’s face so in that sense it was worth it.
