Fit wonderfully, the color is outstanding and the material is nice. We use it under a nice heavy blanket with detachable neck to protect her withers.

For comparison I added two photos of the Md vs the Lg size- I ordered both and he was swimming in the large. My horse is about 15.3 and 1200 lbs btw kinda narrow with a higher wither. It does the job and looks cool, it does twist a lil bit when he’s wearing it so I made the belly strap tighter.

This was way to big for my horse who is about a thousand pounds. If you cut off the excess velcro band there is barely enough to fasten it. I would say for warmbloods and drafts only. Also, very thin fabric - but it was cheap so .....

I got a large for my narrow chested 15.3 TB mare. The medium was too small for her, and the large JUST fits. I wouldn't want it any smaller. It stays nicely around her shoulders despite their being no strap that goes between the front legs to hold it down and in place. The neck however, is tight on her and leaves an indent mark when I take it off the next day.Good value for the money, and since my horse's name is Daisy, the design is great!

The material is the best part in that it has flamingos on it. The elastic band however is extremely long so it says badly on my 15.1h 1100 lb mare. I actually ended up flipping it around so the flamingos are upright and the Velcro is at the elbow area. This way the elastic isn't too long and the print looks better as well.

This guard exacerbated my issue and my horse now has rubs on the front of his chest from this, as well as bare shoulders with all the hair rubbed off. The velcro strap is also extremely long which makes it very difficult to properly secure.
