I only used the trim ring and had to enlarge the opening for a 7" screen for a backup camera. It was a high quality part, great fit and finish.

Looks like everything is here that is needed to install a double DIN stereo and nav system. Looking forward to a nice clean install. Hopefully this weekend.Installed the boss head unit with the new conversion system. Took a little bit of tweaking. And trimming to make it fit. But I am quite happy with the way it turned out.

Installed in a 1996 Chevrolet S-10. No modifications were needed to the dash for this plate to fit. The adapter worked perfect for a double din kenwood deck. Dash plate lined up with stock mounting holes.The only modifications need were to cut out some plastic behind the stereo where wiring harness is attached to. In order for the double din receiver to fit.

The kit itself fits perfectly; however, to make a double dine radio fit the plastic in the back of the dash needs to be cut out. As you can imagine this is a pain. My recommendation here is to have the radio bezel stick out more so the radio din in the dash does not have to be cut. Or at make that disclaimer. With that being said, this was for a '94 S-10 and may not be the case for all applications.

Good replacement for original unit. Bluetooth was main reason for upgrade. Bluetooth connection is good.
