It works very well.I have used this particular block on small boats since I learned how to sail 36 years ago. There doesn't appear to be any "value engineering" going on. It's just as robust and durable as it ever was.

This looks like a good product, and is very similar to the product I ordered. However, it is not what I ordered - my order was incorrectly filled by amazon. It seems the only way to get the item I wanted, I have to rely on amazon to get the order right the next time i order.
