I had somehow tore the corner of my recliner and was about to buy a repair kit, the one that you mix some color putty and spackle the hole with. I have a chest that protects the wood with brass corners and a light bulb went off in my head. If you can think about it; then someone has already done it!! Well I found this one on Amazon and it was perfect! Makes my recliner fancier too!

I bought these to use on an instrument case I am building. They look antique, which I like, but unfortunately the corners are not square, and so do not fit the corners of the box I intended to use them on. The seller fails to mention this in their description.

These brass corner plates worked perfectly to cover the leather on the back corners of my recliner. It had gotten torn when it scraped against the wall. They will also protect it from future damage.

DO NOT ORDER if it is to be used on wood furniture. It doesn't even come close to being a 90* angle! It is SO far off that it can't even be cinched down. The inside corner has a rounded composite that ruins all chances of it working. I was VERY disappointed.

The corners themselves were great. The hitch was I needed them in the two day Prime ship. They came on time, but the brass nails' heads were all too small for the holes. I alerted the seller (who was ready to send new nails with the hope they were big enough), but rather than wait to resolve the problem (and wait to complete my project), I just went to the hardware store and bought my own nails. Otherwise, thrilled with them.
