It took a leap of faith to pay $20 for two small handles on the hopes that they were 3" centers, but I'm glad I did it. 3" centers are hard to find with holes drilled all the way through, as opposed to from the back like cabinet pulls. I would think that Hillman would put the spacing in the dimensions and on the packaging. I needed something for the 3" spaced holes on my sliding patio screen door. I just put long bolts all the way through the outside handle, the door, and the inside handle, and fastened with lockwashers and a nuts on the inside.
