I had devised a system using nuts which I tack welded to some cuts of metal flat bar when I converted from a soft top to a hard top long ago and needed a way to secure it. When I did so, I truly thought I had come up with something very clever.However, there is nothing more clever regarding hard top fastening than this. I am a very big fan of this product. It’s easy to install, built well, holds well, and stays put.Be sure to use some sort of line up tool to avoid expletives, and prepare yourself for a frustrating 15 minute battle to install over the Jeeps Body lip. But once done, you will be happy with your decision.

I tried several different ways to install. I found that slightly screwing them in without trying to force them in place was best. The screws are long enough to do this then it is just a matter of making sure they are in place, then tightening them. They will snap right in and won’t break.

But I don't like about it is it says 1 fits all that is not true like I said up top it shows a flat surface where you can clip onto but in actuality they're round they're rounded a little bit so there's no way to clip them on
