This is a pretty large pencil case and calculator case. It'll end up taking up a decent portion of your backpack if you use it for that. But it seems to be well built and exactly as described.

I didn't think a calculator case was something I really needed in life, but I'm very happy with the versatility of this case! It holds my ancient TI-83 perfectly. I love the flap for pencils and the extra pockets. I could probably put my phone in here, too. I am returning to college (Go Tigers!) at the ripe age of 40, and I wanted something I could throw into a backpack and not worry about. I love that I can see the bright purple color so easily in the depths of my black backpack, and I don't have to keep up with an additional pencil pouch or case. This will be much more durable than a pencil box anyway! I can store everything I need in one pretty box. Little things like that make a difference.This case could be used for all sorts of things. The only thing I don't care for is that pencil loops are a bit too tight for most of my pens. It's not that big of a deal. It will hold plain Bic mechanical pencils and Bic Click Stick pens just fine. This box would be great for make-up, craft supplies, sewing supplies, etc. Good purchase!

Very nice hard case for the scientific calculators out there. I put our IPEROT scientific calculator in this case, fit perfectly. Very nice soft inside case with a flap for pens or pencils and another open side to place other items in. For the low price, this is a very nice hard case for most of the larger scientific calculators out there.

My school days are looooong behind me, so I'm not using this case for a calculator; instead, it makes the perfect case for my nail care tools! I put seven bottles of nail polish in the open side, used the straps for items cuticle pushers and files, and stuck my larger items like nippers and clippers on the side with the pockets. It's just what I needed to organize this stuff.The zipper moves smoothly, the seams are sewn well, and I have high hopes for this lasting a long time.Note: I purchased the "Mint" color, but this is much more of a turquoise/aqua color!
