This little press worked to press flower petals but the blotter paper that came with wasn’t real blotter paper and there wasn’t enough to cover both tops and bottoms of plants in each layer as should be done.

It’s a re-packing of a toy, the seller took away the instruction in foreign language and didn’t bother to put a new one back… the quality is decent and it’s not hard to learn how to use it online. Overall, good

The young children enjoyed this immensely as did their great uncle who gifted it.

Just what we wanted. Our grand daughter loves little flowers and now she has a great press to preserve the flowers that she picks.

I chose this flower press because of previous experience with wooden presses with corner knobs. I was also interested in the larger size. As it turns out, the smaller wooden presses just press better. If the top/bottom of the one were a tad bit thicker, they might not bow as much. This is only really an issue when pressing thicker blossoms like roses or carnations.I love the wood, though -- and the knobs -- and the wooden "bolts." I wish the bottom of the corner bolts had a screwdriver slit, though, because when you're really trying to tighten them down, they sometimes spin. I held them firmly pressed to a silicone surface, which helped.Like others have said, there are no instructions -- but generally you want to protect the cardboard inserts with the paper on both sides. I cut new "sheaths" from regular old copy paper so I could press a couple more layers. They should be dry within 3 weeks, ideally -- but leave them as long as you can!I haven't checked my finished flowers because I just got these yesterday, but I assume all will be well -- at least a bit better than pressing in oversized dictionaries, etc.! All in all, this is a lovely product and I got a second one as a gift for my daughter-in-law.
