How to Use:

This is such a nice set, I got two. Actually getting two was a fluke. I go for any card that hase a non-comic sheep on it. I had literally forgotten that I already had this set which is easy to do since I have a bunch of stamps. So with this set I tried out the sheep and the tulips. With the tulips I made two stamps and then a second generation one as well. In coloring in the second generation stamps (this means I didn't ink the stamp up a second time before using it again which makes the stamp-out much lighter) I was missing some of the details but I did get to see how two colors worked together. The other two bunches of tulips, I was using silver as the print of the design. I found that silver is much better than say, black. The silver doesn't really stand out or take over like a bolder color might and gives you the details that you need and after coloring the stamped area in depending on how you hold your paper you can see the glimer of silver. I used colored pencils for all three sets of tulips which gave me the results that I wanted. I ran into trouble with the sheep. I ignored the 'just leave well enough alone'. After coloring them with pencil, I thought I might get a better look if I used markers. By the time I was done, the sheep looked terrible. Well since I am reviewing the stamps, I'll leave that alone and say that the sheep stamp worked very well. What is hard is try to get the look of the wool on the sheep.I appreciate the opportunity to try out these stamps. Thank you.

This is a super cute set of stamps and also a nice quality. While they are perfect for Easter or just spring, they can be used for all kinds of occasions. Since there are presents included, it's nice for birthdays, too. The individual stamps can be mixed and matched any way you want.If you're new to clear rubber stamps, you'll need acrylic blocks to put the stamps on. Then the blocks can be used over and over with changing out the rubber stamps. It saves space!

These were a gift for my teenage granddaughter who is starting to make cards. I’m sure she will love them along with all the other stuff I got for her. I thought they were pretty cute and might get one for myself next year.
