We have been using this product for many years… its all we use. It keeps oder down to nothing. Easy to use, just fill your RV toilet with has much water it can hold. Follow directions the amount of product to use, then add it to your bowl that full of water and flush. I personally add water thats extra warm with some dish soap to the toilet then add the product and flush. I also just use my left over WARM dish water to toilet a few times a week, or days depending on how long your camping. Good value as the last time we ordered was back in 2022. We emptied tanks weekly while we are being Snowbirds.

Will never use any other tank deodorizer product after using Happy Camper! Breaks down all solid wastes and toilet paper and takes all the smells and odours away with it!

I have been using this stuff for 7-8 years, maybe longer. I have a destination trailer on a permanent site.No more nasty chemical smells that you get when using the blue stuff etc. If used as directed it works as advertised. No more poopy smells coming from rank when flushing. My trailer never moves unlike most who move down the road and the sloshing effect helps clean the sensors and suspends all the solids so you get a good flush. My trailer is now 5 yrs old and have never had an issue with “poop pyramids” or blockages.Highly recommended.

This is the best black tank product I’ve found. I had my hose jump out as I was dumping once. So I got an up close and personal look at my black tank contents. The TP was pulverized, the solids were all in extra small bits and the smell was minimized. I couldn’t believe it. We of course reordered from Amazon when we ran out only to find out couldn’t ship to California. I researched that only to find out I was bit in the but by CA’s environmental laws again. Happy Camper was indeed safe to use in CA they only wanted Happy Camper to have their product tested to prove this fact. Those tests cost several thousand. Dollars. Happy Camper just said they would just not sell in CA. So we bought a major brand competitor product. If we turned on our fantastic fan while we flushed it pulled up enough stink from the open toilet valve we had to leave the motor home. So when we left the state on our first RV trip we bought the larg size package. The smell is gone and we are a HAPPY CAMPER!!!

The various youtubes extolling the virtues of this stuff are correct. It does it's job and is scentless. No more yucky perfumes or complicated procedures.

I have been using Happy Camper for many years. I even use it in my sump. Never any odour from toilet or when dumping. Keeps everything nice and fresh. In fact my entire family and friends are using Happy Camper. BTW Happy Camper is a family owned company who pride themselves in making a top drawer product. And no, I am not sponsored.

Happy Camper is by far the best holding tank enzyme in the market. The product itself is 5 star. It has no fake perfume smell because there are no smell problem you are trying to mask. Many people complain their tank sensors don’t work which is because their tank isn’t truly clean. We are going on two years and our tank sensors still work. Notice it says holding tank, not black tank. That is because a scoop in your black and gray make all the difference. People forget the gray tank does get icky. Just because soap goes down gray tank doesn’t mean it is clean. The packaging of the large container on the other hand made me knock it down to a 4 star. This product should be in a truly sealed container like a screw top. I bought a small container and then refill regularly. The large container just can’t hold out moisture and I have had chunks I need to break up before scooping which is very irritating but not a deal breaker.

UPDATE:I've been using this stuff now for more than 18 months (about six months on the road) and it's working still great. My sensors never did recover fully (see mention of sensors below), but we experience no odor whatsoever.I think I do use more than the recommended dosage. I use about 1/3 cup as an initial dose if we will be in one location for a week or more. I also add another modest dose (about 1/4 cup) at the end of a week if we will not be dumping for another few days. We've now gone as long as 12 days on the two doses.ORIGINAL POST:This stuff works. I've been using it for three months, 90% dry camping and boondocking with up to 11 days between trips to a dump station. This has been a fairly severe test. Also, my tank level lights which have been useless for a couple of years (always reading 2/3 or full) are starting to come back to life.Recently I had to replace my RV toilet while the black tank was 80% full with 8 days of sewage in it. While doing the change I also had to fish an object (long story) out of the 3.5 inch; pipe from the toilet down to the tank (using a flexible extension camera from Harbor Freight and a home made noose). There are two 45's in this pipe! The object was stuck at the bottom and causing a frequent clog. It took more than two hours to successfully get ahold of it and bring it up. I (actually, we) did this after the old toilet was removed and before installing the new one. I did add a second dose of this digester stuff a day before this undertaking and I'm sure that helped. There was virtually no oder during this operation. DW was assisting and never complained of an oder (she would have had there been one!).I probably use a bit more of the treatment than necessary, but at this price that's acceptable. It's looking like I'll get at least 5 years from the tub (4 months per year in the RV). It's far cheaper than the pellet things which run $1 or more each (and I often used two at a time trying to make them effective). I'm sold on this product ... no more oder complaints from the DW. Enough said.
