5APR21Although there is nothing specified in the listing, it appears that the plastic is threaded. Especially in all the views shown in the listing that obfuscate the misaligned threads shown in my photo. I had a plan to use these threads to hold onto the probe. That can't happen now. Whomever designed the mold got the thread alignment off, way off. All five probes have the same issue. I suspect these are rejects from something that was intended to be a piercing probe.As far as a general purpose back pin probe they seem OK.
