Natural Cotton Batting
Our quilt batting is very thin, about 1/4 inch thick, perfect for sewing gloves, purses, art, summer air-conditioning quilts, etc.
Of course, if you need thicker cotton, you can add them on top of each other.
The batting for quilting is soft, warm, and durable, providing a comfortable feel while withstanding long-term use without breaking, wearing, or tearing. It is made without any chemical substances, and although there may be some cottonseed impurities on the surface, they do not affect its use.

Very thin! batting looks much thicker.It almost as thin as a piece of flannel.

I was so excited to finish my quilt, I opened the batting and it was so thin and started tearing, it shed all over my floor..very disappointed.

The batting was thinner than I thought it would be but worked out okay since those quilt is going to Nevada.

i was to make a baby quilt, and. Had never used cotton batting before. I’ve always just used whatever Walmart has that’s the cheapest…sorry, I’m cheap. I never really thought about getting all cotton batting before-why not ? Well, like i said, I’m cheap..or as i prefer to say- an economical shopper:).Anyway, i made the quilt, and boy is it soft. And i got to thinking— this is for a newborn baby- shouldn’t it be the softest possible ?? !It worked out great, cuts easy…washed fine. I love it. I’m glad i bought it…now I’d like to make a big one for us:). I do hope this helps someone !

I bought these for several quilts that I have made. They are good with their shape, and pretty thick. They are warm and hold the warmth in, so your projects will be nice and cozy.They are easy to sew through. Top stitching isn’t lagging due to the quality. The needle doesn’t catch. That is great, as you don’t want your thread to be breaking half way through your topstitching project.Would recommend this to any quilter.
