What looks at first like a typical driver bit is in fact a bit that's internally threaded with a screw thread. They said I got included a 1/4" - 20 threaded drive-in. This makes running these specialty fasteners into the wood really easy. Of course do pre-drill the wood first. This kind of fastener is often used when attaching wooden legs to an assembly or when bolting metal parts onto wooden parts. It's a very specialized application, but this is one of the nicest implementations I have seen. The fastener sections are made in China and the driver is marked made in Taiwan.
