The wide waistband is pretty stiff and the material is pretty heavy. That might be just what you want, but I wanted loose and comfortable, soft jersey shorts. The stiff waistband gave them a less adjustable and more awkward fit and was not comfortable.

Bought black, navy, & dark gray shorts. Nice & comfortable to wear around house. Jersey ~ t-shirt material. Has a wide wasteline band that hasn't rolled and a drawstring that is nice for adjusting size. Although, based upon passed experiences with drawstrings, you might want to tie string prior to washing. Leg openings fit loosely on legs. Decently made. Nice quality. Could possibly pair with a nice dress-down casual shirt & sandals or sneakers and wear on a casual outing. Love the pockets. Fits true to size. I'm 5'1" - hits about 1/2" above knees.

I was hesitant with ordering a size small as I find it hard to find shorts that fit my body. I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. My waist measuring 26 in. I have long legs and a small butt. However since I have a short torso I aways get shorts that dig into my vagina or butt and just make it uncomfortable to even walk or relax in. Ingot the Grey color and they are very comfortable. I took a photo with the shorts rolled on one leg and normal length on the other. They stay rolled when walking. The waist band is thick and good quality. I don't like shorts that show every single detail of my body. I wear them out to go shopping and feel confident in them. The pockets are deep enough to fit my whole hand in them. I'm glad I got the small ( tag read 4-6) and not the medium. I would had been swimming in a medium. I would consider the shorts low-mid rise. They are light and breathable and worth the price.

I hike with a pack of dogs in the woods for work! I’ve been wearing biker shorts in the summer for the last 10 years doing this but I’m turning 40 this year and honestly just a little over biker shorts. They can be kinda hot, have bad pockets and I mean, they are skin tight which may or not be good lol. So I was looking for something else cheap so I could get at least 5 pairs to cover the work week and that would be flexible like biker shorts. These are amazing! They are so comfy but look more professional then biker shorts and maybe more age appropriate lol. I don’t know if I would wear these to a fashion contest but they def fit the bill for the work day of seeing clients when I pick up their dogs then getting covered in mud and sweating all day! Would be great for weekend yard work and chores/errands too! I am 5’4” at clocking in at about 245 right now. Have a big tummy. Xxl fits great! A tiny bit on the more fitted side when I put them on but stretch out throughout the day. So far so good on the riding up between legs too, seem to be long enough for me!

True to size and nice and soft. They are great for wearing everyday or for working out. They are not a thick fleecy material so they are great for summer.

So like a lot of other reviews, I got the black and the dark gray. I would absolutely say they are true to size as a normally in pants now get a large and they are the perfect comfort large - but definitely not too large. The black are 100% cotton and the gray are a cotton poly blend. Hands-down, I like the dark gray short the best! Unlike some of the other reviews, both of mine came, the exact same size and the exact same length, but little bit shorter than I was expecting from the pictures. They were both also a little stiff as others have mentioned before washing. I washed them both right away and the dark gray stayed really nice looking and the cotton black, to me, looks like sloppy shorts that are also magnetic to every cat hair I have lol. As a person that wears almost all black, they’re definitely my least favorite and I am going to wear them for sleeping in because 100% cotton is good for that. I ordered two more of the dark gray just because I like them so much and it’s a good price. They stay nice looking and wash very well. They do have pockets that are fairly deep however my (largest) iPhone has one corner that sticks out, but not enough for it to fall out of the pocket. At first, I thought I would not like the wide waistband, but I actually really like it . Super comfortable! Loose enough to not be tight on your waist, but not loose enough by any means to fall off. You can tuck your hand in there if you want it’s just the perfect amount of comfort! Not sure why just the dark gray is the Cotton poly blend, but as I said by far my favorite as far as looks and wearability. Ordered two more of the dark gray blend and again one of the cotton (light gray) for sleeping in. I don’t feel like the black cotton could look nice enough to wear out and other than sleeping, yard work etc. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the 100% cotton

Repeat purchase! It is very comfortable and looks decent enough to nip to the shops. The two pockets are very handy too. It lasts for years of wear, although the colour fades a little after a while.
