The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow. All the projects are rated according to skill level. These come out looking beautiful and I had no problems with the instructions.

It’s a good book for tatting

Nicely produced book on good paper. Photos (at least 2) of every project, both flat and on an ornament if applicable. Photos also show white and colored versions. Well illustrated charts that are also color-coded, as well as written out instructions. I am an advanced tatter, but was looking for some snowflake designs that were not fiendishly difficult. This book fits the bill. If I teach another tatting class, this will be the book I recommend for students, as a fairly novice tatter should be able to do several of these and build their skills for the more difficult designs. Many tatting books leave a great deal to be desired, this one is just about perfect. I seldom give a five star review, but this deserves it. So glad I found this! Well done, Ms. Foster!

I love this book. But I love tatting. To me the patterns are not that involved. Yes some are more difficult but I enjoy the challenge.
