My son has truly enjoyed working through this book. It teaches how to hold the pencil properly, then goes through the letters in uppercase AND lowercase, and it also includes lots of illustrations. I would say get this book and work on it daily! Absolute must have!

I have a handful of handwriting books for my 4yo who will be starting kindergarten next year. We pair them with his reading lessons each day, and we rotate between the books depending on which letters we're focusing on. This book is a great in a lot of ways with just a few quirky letters to be aware of. This book has simple pages with large lines, so it's good for kids who aren't ready to write small yet. I also like how they display the arrows and numbers that show how to write the letters. Some handwriting books make it unclear when to lift your pencil from the page for a different stroke (to cross the t) and when to keep it on the page (the hump of the n). This book is more clear since they only list another number when you actually lift your pencil off the page. I wouldn't have thought this was an issue, but my 4yo has gotten confused numerous times with other handwriting books, but never with this one. While most of the letters are shown the way you would expect a new writer to do them, the lowercase "a" and "t" have extra tails that aren't normally introduced until they're prepping kids for cursive. Overall this is a great book that works well for early writers!

Very Pleased to add this to my kindergarten homeschooling rotation. I let my 4 yo practice on it. Their are plenty of pages of simple effective instruction.

My daughter (4 1/2) has gone through lots of workbooks focusing on specific skills. This Blibaba has a smarter setup than most. Some workbooks have too much info on a page and can be distracting from learning or mastering basic skills. This one is broken into sections - uppercase, lowercase, sentences & words and numbers. Though my daughter can easily write all letters and numbers past 20, this workbook is perfect for her focusing in on perfecting her writing. I rather like that they even show step by step instructions for making each lowercase letter and numbered arrows showing how to form uppercase letters. My daughter has been doing extra pages outside of what I assign her which speaks volumes to me. Great addition to kindergarten prep, summer supplement or home-schooling tool.

This is a nice little workbook. Comes just as pictured. Price tag seems a bit steep but otherwise it's a good learning tool for younger kiddos.

Got this for my kindergarten son and he enjoys the games while learning to write his letters. This workbook is also helpful with spelling basic simple words.

I am happy with the activity book but was a little surprised that the outer cover was more of a magazine like material than actual book. However the writing exercises are good and there are lots of opportunities to practice. I do think the price is quite high for the product itself. There are no color pages in the book it is all black and white.
