So far I really love this!!! I walk dogs for Rover and wanted to get a belt that would help having the dogs I walk attached to me as an extra security/safety. It seems very sturdy and I like that it has the extra strap with buckle to easily attach/detach any leash. I was nervous the small/medium wouldn’t fit me because in clothing I’m an xs/s, but since it sits at your hips it fits me great and is comfortable. Just make sure to measure yourself and compare measurements to the sizing.

We have a medium size but STRONG dog who has yanked the retractable leash out of our hands before - and then the chase begins. You all know what I'm talking about. Hubby poo-poo'd it at first and thought it was rediculous but he is a firm believer now. It's so easy to adjust between the two of us - he's a large guy and I'm a medium gal and it can adjust within a minute. It's made of strong material that will last, we've had it for several months now and it's still going strong with no signs of wear. One nice thing I like about it is that the leash doesn't have to be on one side or the other, if you have it just loose enough the belt rotates to whatever side your pooch is on. Yes, the dog seems to approve of it as well.

I have been using the same Squishy Face leash belt for 6 years and it has never failed me. My dog is a 65lb husky/german shepherd/akita mix and we take daily walks as well as frequent hikes in all seasons and through all types of terrain. I usually use a flexi lead with my belt but love that I can use the belt with a regular leash if the need arises. Sometimes I keep family members’ dogs and the belt makes walking 2 dogs at once hassle free - I can put my dog on the belt and still have hands free to keep a second dog on a leash by my side. The belt adjusts so I can wear it on the outside of a heavy winter coat or over a light summer shirt. The webbing is much wider than other models I have seen and this makes it strong and comfortable. The Squishy Face leash belt is simply “perfect” in every way!

I was wanting some sort of hands free leash belt, but all the ones in pet stores had to much fluff that I wasn't looking for. I train our dog on a ten foot lead and it's cumbersome trying to hold it while hold our training toys and not allowing it to get tangled. I bought this product and it is a training GAME CHANGER!! I don't have to worry about dropping the leash while training, it prevents it from getting tangled and it gives us the freedom to really focus on our training.I love the simplicity of this hands free leash belt and its effectiveness. I would most definitely recommend this product to any and all dog owners out there!!

I have a brother and sister pair of black labs that I enjoy walking and running with. We generally run 2.5 to 3 miles daily. I use a leash splitter with a short, padded training handle and well made harnesses but really thought I wanted a jogging leash...until I tried one. I liked the waist belt idea but the bungee leash was useless to me as I have trained my dogs to stay to my left side in a modified heel position, even when running. When I saw this prpduct after processing a return for the jogging leash set-up that I hated I ordered it on a whim because the description sounded like it would work better for me. We got it yesterday and tried it out this morning and I am in LOVE! The belt is easily adjusted to fit wherever you find it most comfortable-for me that's more waist height than hip height-the clasps are very sturdy, and it allows me to continue using my favored leash set up to keep my dogs and myself safe. I can easily grab the handle to the leash at my waist for additional control as needed. If you walk or run with a four-legged companion or two this belt is well worth the investment!

This waist leash belt is fantastic! I'm always checking out new gear as a professional trainer. When I walk my small and big dog together, my small dog is on a waist leash. The one in was using before was a bit too large for him. I switched to a regular small dog leash on this belt and it's now my favorite thing ever. The waist leash I was using before would need to be readjusted slightly as I often ask my dogs to switch from one side to the other. This belt let's the leash travel a bit resulting in less manual adjustments. Its thick enough to be comfortable with a much larger dog (my little is 20lbs) and I love that I can add more leashes for group adventures or a different leash depending on who's dog I'm working with.The only thing I would drastically change is the unfortunate marketing of this leash encouraging owners to use their phones while out with their dogs 🤦♀️ this is a very bad idea, especially if you're in a populated area or your dog has any behavior difficulties! I loathe seeing owners on their phones, at best you totally disconnect from your dog and at worst you can create a dangerous situation for more than just you and your pooch! Also, not a great idea to attach a retractable leash, let's go ahead and put that one in the trash real quick... ok, that's better. Imagine the illustrious squirrel nemesis crossing your path as you stare at your phone (you're shopping on amazon, of course) you dont see it. Your dog sees it. Your dog starts running and now has 15 feet before hitting the end of the leash clothes lining himself and putting immense pressure on your lower lumbar or sacrum...OUCH!

Nice fit and well made. Most belts are too narrow and stretch out over time. I use it with my treat/training bag. Add a second leash attachment on the other side and I would give it a 5 star rating.
