I think this is good if you need a cheap scope that can fit in your front shirt pocket. It's cheap enough that I'm not really scared of frying it, and I can generally see what I need to see to diagnose shorts. It's not very fast and the UI is not quick to navigate, but I think that's fine considering the size of the unit and the cost. I could nitpick that it doesn't have the same features as other portable scopes, but you'll end up paying more for those features and they will be much bigger. Overall I think it's worth the price if you need something portable for quick diagnostics.

This handheld digital oscilloscope multimeter is an incredibly handy tool for electronics work on the go. Its compact size easily fits in my pocket, yet it offers the functionality of a full-sized oscilloscope and multimeter. The 2.8" TFT display is clear and easy to read, and the 2.5MS/s sampling rate and 200KHz bandwidth are sufficient for a wide range of diagnostic tasks. The trigger function and other features make it a powerful and versatile tool for troubleshooting electronic circuits wherever you are.

I wanted a simple handheld unit to setup the amp output in my boat's new audio system. This little unit performed the speaker clipping check very well. You don't need to spend several hundred dollars for a more sophisticated unit, this reasonably price one will show you what you need and you can save alot of money.

If you can somehow fit the BNC adapter into the unit, leave it in there. The connector on the body will not last through more than a couple of insertions. The e-commerce pledge: To improve the reliability of online reviews, I will post a review of every product or service of significance I purchase, and update the review should my opinion change.

Like all technology, oscilloscopes have come a long way in a short time. It’s amazing that one can have an oscilloscope in the palm of their hand, even with a basic capability, especially at such a low cost. The device is presently charging, but I’m impressed by the small size and standard USB-C charging interface. It appears to have everything one would need to get up and running. The only thing missing is a carrying case, which would have been nice to carry and store the device, probe, leads, charging cable, and manual in a compact and organized manner. The integrated stand is also nice in that you can have the device oriented upright while taking a reading, or while charging.I also noticed while reading the manual that firmware updates are accomplished via a USB drive, but there is no mention in terms of how one learns of such updates and where to download them from. Automatic wireless push updates would have also been nice, which is typical of practically every mobile device these days. It’s nice to have a portable o’scope on hand. It’s not something I would need very often, but it’s nice to have if needed.

Works well, instructions try to do a good job but fall short. You will have to do some researching on your own but that's no big deal. Overall very happy with it. If you have bad eye sight, maybe find one with a larger screen. Bonus points for having a USB-C charging port. 9/10
