The main issue is it's not thick enough to do it's intended job of protecting your walls. How you can you fail on this alone is beyond me. Actual thickness is 1 inch not 1-1/8". Even 1-1/8" thick is pushing it. That aside the glue used is garbage also. Not just one small corner coming unstuck but all over the show and on both sides. The 18" hole is also too big to fit the industry standard of 17¾ inch boards and doesn't provide any filler to fill the 1/2" gap left at the bottom.

This is a horrible product - DO NOT BUY! Outer layer was peeling off out of the box. The puzzle pieces did not work to have same outer layer showing and way too thick.

This dart backboard is perfect it fit perfectly around the board so no need to secure it to the wall

I really thought all dartboards are the same size, but I have a Winmau and it's 17.75" so there is a gap when trying to fit on this backboard. I have no complaints about the backboard itself, but don't be like me and assume all dartboards are the same size.The quality is nice, but I can't speak to the fit on an 18" board. Suffice to say, I expect it to be a snug fit to prevent the darts from going in between the board and the backboard, but I can't comment on that, so I can't give it a 5 star for that reason.

A great protection for my wall it fits snugly to my dart board. The quality is great and very affordable.

This was a perfect addition to our newly purchased dartboard. Not only did it enhance the look but saved our wall from erroneous throws from the novice players. I recommend this product.
