Poorly made product. I found no matter how well I put it together, pieces just never lined up. Some pieces were too small on one side or too long on the other, leaving large gaps where a hamster could potentially get a foot or leg stuck/hurt. The hole inserts were never wide enough so I had to widen them myself. And after finally piecing everything together, the holes on the bottom didn’t line up at all. I’d get one side put in, just for the other side to not line up. I’d finally push the other side to line up, making the side I just did pop out. It couldn’t take the tension. Will be returning and opting for a different house.

It's ok. I got this house for my syrian hamster. It's a bit small, but still usable. She's able to fit inside, but it's more suitable for dwarf hamsters and gerbils. I also had a hard time assembling it. I had to apply a lot of pressure, and I was terrified of breaking the pieces, but I got it all put together. My hammy girl has been checking it out. She went inside a couple times, but didn't stay in for very long as there's not a lot of room for her. That's just my fault for not checking the measurements, but my little one was still able to fit inside. I was really only going to use this for her playpen anyways.

This is a cute hideaway house for a hammie. Just be aware you have to manhandle the pieces a little to get them to fit properly. Still, happy with purchase!

I bought this house for my 2 dwarf hamster and they absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for them. They have turned the bottom story into their nest and in there whenever they aren't eating or playing. It was very easy to put together and had no issues with breakage of any kind. Mine did come with a diagram to help know which piece went where. It was much sturdier than I expected so I'm very pleased.

I’ve ordered a few of the hides and all was well until the snail I received today. Sadly one of the pegs broke off while trying to fit it in the hole and I had to throw it away. Too bad, it was super cute. Fortunately all other house assemblies went smoothly. Would still purchase again.

This was easy to put together and is very sturdy! My hamster has a 2-level “Qute” cage by Omlet, so I was able to put this in the bottom drawer space with a bunch of bedding. This has three separate little tunnel entrances on the bottom level, and my hammy moved in down there and shaped his tunnels immediately. He loves it! I didn’t use the ladder since his tunnel to get up/down goes right where the ladder would be, but I used a little bridge and some bedding to enable him to get to the top of this little wooden house. The measurements were perfect for the drawer of my cage! This is worth every penny.

This castle made a great addition to our babes cadge. She is a large Syrian and it’s a good size for her. It’s super sturdy and easy to assemble. Made our hammy pancake super happy. She wasn’t a fan of the typical dome hideout. So, this was a home run for her! I would say that the only complaint would be that the ladder doesn’t completely attach to the house. I think it’s so you can move it about but I would prefer it to be affixed so it wouldn’t wobble about but it still functional.Over all this hideout is a five star for us!
