the opening seems a little small and sharp, so i left the top off because i have a large hamster. my little guy loves it! he mainly uses it to use the bathroom and it makes cage cleaning much easier!

Our dwarf hampster hates then the top cover is attached. She likes to crawl under it however when it is detached from the bottom half and just sits to the side. It's a female hamster - go figure! But she loves to bath in the bottom half without the cover - I think she just really likes to create a mess by throwing sand all over the place!! Hope you see the humor in this - this bathroom is a great product for your pet to enjoy their baths in whatever manner they wish... :-)

I truly like this product I would highly recommend this is a 10 out of 10! I think it is perfect value for the money and it is the perfect size! Quality is also great and it has perfect durability. I also like the colors of it.

My daughter wanted a sand bath for her dwarf hamster (same size as a mouse). I was trying to find a good sized one of these to get (for the pet, and for the 10 gallon tank it lives in). I bought this one and it ended up being perfect. It's easy to clean, and has a fun look.

I thought it was going to be bigger. Probably best for a dwarf hamster or small gerbils.
