I'm very happy with this product! It's easy to use, and I've cooked vegetables, fish, and chicken with great results. The three-tier stackable bowls make it convenient to steam different foods at once. I highly recommend it!

This is the first time ordering an appliance from Amazon. It arrived broken. It had been repackaged and sent to me broken. This model steamer is poorly made and flimsy. Definitely DONT buy this steamer.

This is the second time I’ve bough this steamer. Simple set up and dishwasher safe. Makes cooking dinner and clean up with a little one very easy!

I have purchased 2 of these steamers. I have really liked them because they are easy to use and consistent every time. Most things (potatoes, rice, eggs, etc) generally only take about 20 minutes and cooks perfectly. The digital screen is nice and the fact I can refill the water without removing the trays is good.However, I wish the quality of the plastic was better. I use it pretty frequently but with both I’ve had, the sides of the clear trays crack and the lid handles always break. My son had to 3D print me a new one (in purple) because the original one cracked and broke. There are also a lot of cracks underneath where the handle is. The clear trays are labeled “1” and “2”. If you use “2” for the bottom tray, it will leak water onto the counter because it’s slightly larger than “1”. So now that my “1” tray is cracked it’s virtually unusable unless I want to keep cleaning up water afterward. So overall good steamer but does have some issues.

The steaming instruction are very accurate on single stack. Double stack requires increasing steam-time to what shows in the instructions, but very simple. Setup and Cleanup is easy. Use it once or twice per week. Hard boiled eggs? Amazing!!!

This is genious! It works amazingly every single time. Follow instructions and serve the food soon after the timed steam for best food eva! Easy clean up, set and forget ease. Nothing to rust or wear out. Timed steaming. Extremely safe to use. Easily feed family of four regular serving sizes. Weve had it over two years.

As soon as I plugged it in, there was a loud bang and electric sparkles. Steamer no longer works. Used an adapter that had previously worked with other US devices.Otherwise it looked like a decent purchase but it was either faulty or unsuitable for the use in UK power network.

I was skeptical because of reviews I read but could not find any in my area so bought it anyway, thankfully I didn't listen to past reviews. It's great, love it. Not sure why so many complaints about water all over, mine so far never a drop beside steamer, and easy fill up with more water if needed, not sure about the complaint that she could not find the fill up?? It's well marked. Great to steam corn with the double high steamer. Easy to clean also, steams everything fast.Only downside have to watch steamer closely as finish "ding" sound very faint barely audible unless your standing right beside it, but it goes onto warm mode so at least food does not cool off if you check past done. I can live with this one little issue.

This item is not intended for use in the UK!It is rated at120Volts and not the 230/40Volts we us in the UK.Comes with a two pin American (moulded) plug. If you were to remove this to put a three pin plug on you invalidate your warranty and would be dangerous!!!!

i had up until a few months ago, an older version of this steamer from 2013.. i loved it.. it worked great for nearly a decade until i accidentally allowed the cord to get close to a hot stove burner (when i unplugged the steamer) i was not confident in using it anymore, fearful that it had burned in too close to the wires so i tossed it and ordered a new one in august this year. it worked great up until this last week when i was steaming some cod, i came over to check on everything and there was water everywhere. i cleaned everything up (the fish cooked all the way thru) and dried the appliance off, but water was still leaking hard out of the bottom and the sides where the base and metal meet. i let it sit for this last week and today decided to test it and filled it to less than the max line and within a minute it was gushing again, i hadn't even plugged it in yet.i sent an email to hamilton beach, they have a limited guarantee on this item for 1 year, amazon has a 90 day policy (im just shy of 120 days) so im waiting for a response back from the manufacturer. im hoping it won't cost the equivalent for shipping a replacement as it would be to just buy a new one on amazon.im giving it 3 stars bcs cleaning it is easy, its versatile, and really easy to use. if it weren't for the leaking i would give it 5.i really like the HB steamers, they have been great for steaming veggies and fish but i may look for another brand, depending on what i hear back.

I absolutely love this product. I did a lot, and I mean a lot, of research on steamers and this has proven to be everything that I expected. For one, there is nothing like a good steamer for weight loss, quick, healthy foods, and the life. The problem with preparing food is the pain that may often accompany the process. The Hamilton Beach Digital Steamer is extremely easy to use and clean. Why is this important? Because anything more complicated means you will not use it after a brief period of use. This unit has two layers so you can steam a variety of foods at ounce. As others have pointed out, unlike other units this one is intelligently designed so as not to leak water during the process. Furthermore, each part of the unit is so well designed that cleaning it is very easy and conducive for multiple use. I use this three times a day, as I like to eat as many greens as possible.One reviewer pointed out that this lacks a recipe book for steaming food. Frankly, this is not a big deal at all. Anyone with a google search engine can pull up millions of recipes. It does come with a simple and useful guide about how long a variety of veggies take to cook, which brings me to my next point: This unit cooks and steams each food so evenly and well that I could never go back to the old pot of boiling water and one of those mess thingys, which is what I used to use until I got fed up.I cannot recommend this steamer enough. It is a life changer. You will use it, use it often, and get a lot of health benefits in doing so. In fact, I think I might even get another one for work, so I can steam my lunches.
